Zones & Risk
Zone colour tells you exactly how much you can lose — the core rule of Albion is 'never carry what you can't afford to lose'.
The four colours
- Blue = safe: no PvP, no loot loss.
- Yellow = non-lethal: you get knocked down (~5% durability hit), no gear drops.
- Red = full-loot PvP, but attacking unflagged players costs Reputation (a penalty system).
- Black = full-loot, no rules — the highest risk and the best rewards.
Reputation & flagging
- In Red zones you must flag hostile to attack; killing unflagged players tanks your Reputation and can lock you out of Royal cities.
- Black zones and the Mists have no reputation — anyone can attack anyone.
Instanced dimensions
- The Mists and Roads of Avalon overlay their own risk (yellow = knockdown, black = full-loot). Reach 50,000 standing in the Mists to unlock Brecilien, the hidden sixth city.
